The Vector 2000w MSW inverter and the Sharp MW get along well in our rig. The Sharp MW wants 1550 watts but draws more like 110 amps when on with the MSW. Doesn't seem to take more time than when on shore power to "bake" a spud. Guess we lucked out. Of course how well baked the spud is depends on how easy it is to stick a knife into it, so there is some ( a lot!) "margin" on the time.
I also tried our spare "700w" Danby MW that says it wants 1050w input using the Xantrex PSW 1000w inverter. It ran ok, but the inverter was showing its "overload" light. If the Sharp ever dies, I guess we could use the Danby just as well, but then there would be no job for the Vector 2000w.
So far I have kept the two inverters installed with the 2000w MSW running just the MW, toaster, and kettle. The 1000w PSW runs everything else. That is overkill for the 1000w, but it was on sale for same money as a smaller MSW, so I grabbed it. Not sure if we have anything that actually needs PSW.
