It was not a back and forth comparison as the PWM was being replaced.
The 9A+ figure was the best I could recall over about two years with the PWM. The 10A+ figure was observed within a few days after installing the MPPT. I do not monitor Amps unless setting up a special driveway test.

The driveway tests are with flat panels attached to the roof rack of my van. The driveway tilts north giving a negative tilt which is expected to yield less than ideal readings when compared to the panel specs. The Isc of one panel is 5.12A and the Vmp is 18.3V.
