You guys rock! You have got me thinking :).
Running my house stuff off the 24v I currently have is not practical, because it's in equipment I need to use for work. I need it to be fully charged when I get up in the morning.
But I could switch solar stuff around... or just have a 24v house system. I can charge my phone off the inverter.
Probably not my computer, though. (I think my current MSW 12v inverter did something bad to my 'puter charger, which a week later caused it to kill two computer batteries. Either that or it's all a massive coincidence.) I could charge the computer off one battery at a time and alternate days (or if one is a bit igher SOC for some reason).
