Yeah, it pays to have a good quality inverter. Don't let price be the main factor in your decision. Go with something that's been proven to last. And a bigger inverter requires a bigger bank... an absolute minimum of say 500Ah (@12v) of bank per 1000w of inverter, to avoid a low voltage event when batts are not full.
