I can only speak to the dependability of the Xantrex Prowatt SW 1000. It handles my 700w output / 1080w input microwave o.k., but barely. When running, the inverters 120v line voltage drops, causing an increase in current draw to about 10a; well above the inverter's 8.3a continuous rating. The only time the low voltage alarm has sounded was on a partly discharged 215Ah bank... no problem running off the 430Ah bank, but I only do less than 5 minutes runs.
