Looking at the IV curve, there is a very slight drop in current as you move to the right of 0v, and toward charging voltages. Likewise, there is a very slight drop in voltage as you move up and away from 0a. So, as a starting off point, I would think Voc would be the panel voltage one should consider. And yes, temps and insolation both have an effect, but we're talking in generalities here, not specifics.
Comparing 24v series/mppt to 24v parallel/pwm, the mppt would likely 'wake up' earlier, and 'stay up' later, correct? But over the course of an entire day, the total Ah haul may be quite similar, seeing as the mppt may produce fewer amps for a longer period, while the pwm may produce higher amps for a shorter period. It would be interesting to see the results.
