Yes, I agree, but it may just go to show that a rather modest 24v/250w system may just do the job for a lot of folks... especially if they are fair weather campers... and at a comparatively good price. 24v panels are cheaper, pwm's are way cheaper, and the savings would more than cover the small cost of heavier wiring, by far. And as usual, real estate plays a part, but a single 24v panel is much smaller than two 12v panels. (I have to imagine most campers can accommodate a single 24v panel.) I just think it's an interesting and viable option, in many cases.
