1985 Coachmen 24' Class A - Simple Newbie Question

I need to know what the R/S switch does.. I know it has something to do with the electrical system. I also "think" is has something to do with combining the Chassis and House battery ( could be wrong ...

It sounds like the "S" is for storage and "R" for run, meaning when you are using your RV.
That switch opreates a latching relay, it only needs a momentary bit of electricty to work. It disconnects/connects the house batteries.
