It can be a real bear chasing something like this down even with a decent schematic which probably does not exist.
Once you find a fuse that cures the problem, then put it back in and keep pulling fuses to be sure there are no others contributing to the problem.
As suggested, a screw wearing through a harness can be a monster to find.
I worked on construction and one time on one new house all exterior was covered with wire mesh prior to aplying cement stucco,when someone touched it and got a electric shock..
Somehow electricians working inside managed to shoot nail or screw thru the wire and conect to this outside wire mesh and of course no one could find where it was...
Lotsa fun removing all wire mesh from a big huge house and doing it all over again..
