1999 American Eagle Vent Fan Fuse

Recently had guys replacing both of the roof vent fans on our 1999 American Eagle coach. They accidentally shorted the  power wires together on the rear (bathroom) unit. So spark, no more 12 VDC.

Front unit still works fine.

Checked the fuse panel at the bottom of the bed with no luck. All seem to be good.

If it's up front by the steering wheel, nothing is labeled that way on the diagram.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

  • Check ground continuity and + from fan to fuse.
it should have blown the fuse immediately but may have taken out a weak wire instead.

Thanks for the reply. I already ran a separate 12 V wire to the fan and it works fine. So not a ground problem.

      Thanks again.
