2 Dish tv sats

I’ll start with this set up is on a Houseboat .
2 dishes within 5 ft of each other.
One is currently on a fixed position used only when at our dock slip

A second dish is now being mounted with a rotar
This dish is used when we are parked away from the dock.
Only One receiver an one tv.

I’m trying too keep from running another 105 feet of cable
through a complicated area.

I’m assuming I can use quick disconnect fittings for the main line to
either use Dish 1 or Dish 2the . (Main line to the one an only receiver)

Question is there a splitter option. So as not to have to unconnect an re connect

    I read thanks

I have always been told it was a no no.
The article explains it well. Enough said
    Wink
  • If you read an article that said do not or you cannot use an A/B switch with satellite TV that information is COMPLETELY WRONG.
I have successfully used an A/B switch setup with satellite TV setup for many years with NO signal loss.
Those are the actual facts. I hope you find this information helpful and I would be happy to discuss this in detail based upon my years of installation experience in the RV scenarios.
