I don't think that has anything to do with moisture. It looks more like someone installed that trim piece in too much of a hurry and snagged it as it slid into position. It may have been that way since new or they could have replaced that ceiling tile for various reasons.
If you can live with the look and there's no signs of water damage anyplace else then I'd say it's good to go.
