2003 Gulf Stream Gauges

I have a 03 Yellow Stone 39' DP, that the instrument gauges are acting up, at least some of them. The temp gauge has started pegging after driving for a mile or so. I had the system checked and the temp sensor was bad and was replaced. The gauge worked for about 20 miles and then started pegging again. I took the RV back to the shop and they tested the sensor, which was fine. So the gauge must be bad.

Now the speedo is acting up. While I am starting the RV the speedo goes berserk, jumping all around. Once the RV is running the speedo stays at some MPH. When I start driving the speedo drops down until it hits zero at which point it stays there until I start the RV again. Since all of the other gauges seem to be working I was wondering if their is an interval voltage regulator for some of the gauges?

Is it possible to replace all of the gauges with an electronic monitoring system, or is it better to just replace the few gauged that are wacky.

Stick around, somebody here can direct you to a shop that will recondition the entire cluster for less than you can tinker with it.
  • Possible yes, practical no.

Sounds like a loose connection or bad ground....
