2003 Revolution Head Banger TV Removal

Does anyone have experience removing the metal piece that holds the front TV on the early Revolutions? It looks like I may have to remove the ceiling trim above the front curtain track as I am assuming there are screws under it that hold the steel piece in place. That would require removing the cabinets on both sides of the TV and I would prefer to know before getting that far.
