Some of you have asked about tanks. This trailer has none. I hook directly to a hose for fresh water (I do have a 10g tank for water heater so technically I guess I do have one tank and that's the freshwater tank I mentioned earlier) and directly (via sewage line) to septic tank.
Interestingly, I asked last night if the barn system was vented. Lots of problems with mud dobbers in there and thought maybe that vent could be clogged. She said she didn't think there was a vent in that sewer line, but she wasn't sure. Hmmm. Doesn't sound right to me.
I will say that before our first deep freeze I did use pipe insulation on the incoming hose for water. I didn't know to do the sewer line. Heck, this is in Alabama. Who'd a thought it would be cold enough to freeze waste?
