2008 Discovery w/350 Cummins check engine!
I have a (new to me this season) 2008 Discovery with a 350hp Cummins and on a longer grade the check engine! comes on and then it will go back off on its own a short time later, after it’s not pulling...

You might also check and clean the radiator as the fins get full of gunk and don't let much air through the radiator. Many don't clean it often enough and it can cause overheating when pulling a long hill.
