20amp feed through gfci?
I need to replace a bad gfci outlet on my camper. I removed it and took to lowes to find a new one. The old outlet had 20amp stamped on it, so I bought a 20amp gfci. When I went to install it, I noticed that the outlet had the "T" slot, the old one does not. After some research, I've found that the old gfci outlet is a 15amp gfci with a 20amp feed through. Do most 15amp gfci have a 20amp feed through? Is this a rv thing or will I be able to find one at my local box store?
The Leviton website has a X7599 that shows to be 15 amp with 20 amp feed through. Home depot sells Leviton but their part # is R02-X7599-0KW. Home depot description says nothing of 20 amp pass through. Should it be the same? Trying to save a trip into town for an outlet that wont work. Thanks.
