Meanwell uses made in Taiwan transformers PCB and components. And Meanwell uses Siemens MOSFETS. And Meanwell gets their power supplies assembled and shipped from China and Oooooooo a little sleuthing reveals this company is in the same country - the same Taiwan province and Oooooo the same Industrial Park.
But the following point is not insignificant: These inverters are -not- auto switch over UPS style devices. Huh? Clues come from reading and digesting. The interaction between inverter and charger is totally manual. They have to be selected. What does this mean? These inverters are suitable for off-grid use only.where there is zero chance of line voltage seeing inverter AC.
Nevertheless, both absorbsion and float voltage are manually set. As an aside bet you didn't know that Meanwell makes a PSW inverter.
I remember when Honda and Sony were regarded as "xxx" Junk. IMHO this is a funky design piece of equipment that has a very limited very specific appeal. With all my power supplies I am running out of room in the toad. Shady Acres Solar Farm is not in my future.
