Couple things:
a) You will need a 24v charger to run on gen/shore when the sun is hiding for long periods of time. You didn't indicate you have, or were getting, an inverter/charger. I have experimented running 2-12v standard battery chargers in series, but it hasn't worked well.
b) make sure the 24/12 DC-DC converter is rated to handle your largest DC load, which in my case is my slides.
I surely agree with all your PROs.
