Best aqdvice I've heard on this forum in a long while.
I don't fulltime, but I probably do a lot more dry camp then the average.
Over the past 50 years, my batteries last from 4 (yrs ago) to 10 (recent yrs) yrs,......just like everyone elses do. I **** canned my hydrometer years ago, couldn't care less what the sg is. I have enuff experience to know when a battery bank is not performing like it should, and that's when I change it out.
Many here have nothing better to do,...and must love tinkering w/ batteries, so thats ok, but I feel for those that become "obsessed" w/ battery specs. The best thing that can happen to them will be when all batteries are AGM, and you can **** can your hydrometer, and go camping.
