You need to re-think, THERE ARE NO SIX VOLT BATTERIES IN RVs.
What I have, and what you have (if you have GC-2's) is a 12 volt battery split into two halves for ease of handling and instalation.
WHile it is true each Half, sitting on the shelf at teh store, is six volts, when you hook up that jumper it i "Magically" (not really magic) transformed into a single 12 volt.. Roughly a 4D if I recall the specs correctly.
Another difference
Most 27's for RV use are "MARINE/deep cycle" (Case is important)
A MARINE battery is a starting battery, and these are as well. the "Deep Cycle is lip service, Where as a true Starting battery needs to be kept at around 80-85% SOC or higher a MARINE/deep cycle can go down to 75-80%
A TRUE Deep cycle 50% and they are cheaper too.
