Antimony percentage.2-3/4% antimony will not bubble in the least while 5% antimony to Pb will. Enough to stir the cell. Chances are great the 27's are hybrid with calcium negative plates -- even less circulation.
There's nothing like the final realization of dealing with a sheep in wolf's clothing.
the STANDARD car battery you purchased for your 1960's automobile is more of a deep-cycle RV battery than today's flashy deceptive Deeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep Cycle fraud. The first battery I ever autopsied was an Autolite Heavy-Duty group 27 105 amp hour battery. Can't compare weight because it had over the top cell connectors and was a tar-top design. Lasted 11-years and the grids were stripped. Totally used up.
6-cells of golf car batteries have roughly 580 CCA. A flooded scrubber has around 680 CCA. You know the weight of these things. Now compare to the thermonuclear bragging of your 27's. It's a dead giveaway. Wolves never have flat incisors. "Baaaaaaaaa"
WTF.... my gc 24's are 500 CCA @ 0F so WTF? does it all mean?
