I am not sure if a built in genset like an Onan would work. The OP had a Boliy, but it would not fire up come cold temperatures.
I would agree the Onan would be the best of all worlds. Were I keeping my TT, I'd probably consider flipping the axles, having the genset installed underneath with a 25 gallon gas tank, then have it wired in via an ATS. Add to that an inside start switch and a controller so the generator fires up if the batteries are low.
