There is also a GC10 at 215AH that goes for about $30 less than the 230AH GC15 up here (as rebranded by CanTire). No idea what the deal is on those there.
Winter camping here with no solar means we need four 6s (lots of furnace time and we pig out on inverter time too), but in summer camping in the open with solar we only need two 6s. Don't have any summer no solar numbers.
Now have only a 75 Amper to charge the four 6s in the two hour time 9-11am ( provincial park) to do it. Be better to have more charging like you still have.
Since we only do four nights at a time in winter it works ok. Starting full it takes us two nights to be at 50% on the morning of Day 3, so recharge for two hours to about 85%. Not enough AH to do two days so recharge again morning of Day 4. Go home with batts at maybe 45% and recharge to full there. So hauling out the gen twice for two hours each time to do the four nights, but on a losing trend for AH
When we had 150 Amps of charger on four 6s we could keep up with the two hour time limit. So it is all about gen time wrt charging amps (and of course having enough gen to run however many amps of charger.)
So your long weekends should go well and the 9 day trips should too, especially since you have solar that in some situations can get you some extra charging.
