The difference is the Golf Car batteries are designed for high capacity and slow discharge to a fairly low level. MARINE batteries even if they are marked MARINE/deep cycle or MARINE/rv, are designed to start a motor (high current draw but not for long) and be quicky recharged so they age faster if you run 'em down.
That's why I like GC batteries.. Want a 12 volt GC-12s do exist.
LiFePo4 is interesting but.. there are conditions where they are counter indicated.
