30 amp & 20 amp to make 50 amp
does this work or is the 30 & 20 side feed each other , just going to make 20 or 30 side pop c.b. or worth making one to have just in case ?.

50A isn't 20+30, it's 50A X 2 for an actual 100A. (because it's 240V @ 50A)
You can make an adapter that uses them separately for each side of the 240V but if the 20 has a GFCI it will possibly trip.
