Personally I would take the 4 square box cover off and see what is going on in there. As you stated you have two cords leaving the 4 square box, but did not say where both went. Is this the only power inlet cord for the MH? For some reason this does not look like a factory setup. Is the 30amp male connector in background just part of an adapter or is it for something else? I am not sure it is for a generator hook up. As it looks in the pic. I would not use it for that till I knew a lot more about it. But that is just me.
