I used a 30 for a while but now use a 50 This being a 50 amp rig.
USE the size that fits your rig.. NOW.. there is a company named Surge Guard..
They make 3 models of both 30 and 50 amp.. ONE is just a spike supressor (I have a hard wired version, so does the park I'm parked in, same model) this one sells for UNDER 100 dollars and I strongly recommend you do NOT buy it,, It has 3 or 4 LED's, no digital displays.
The more expensive ones with the Digital displays are true Surge Guards/power line monitors/protectors and are well worth the cost.
