I just spoke to CPE customer support and when asked if the 3100i had a chance of running the AC at 10,000 ft the answer was a quick no.
I would consider a pair of 2000w but both of those will loose around 500w meaning the pair will be only good for 2200w running.
Well crud, I guess it's back to the 3500/4000 for us. At least a newer one will have cleaner power than the 120v/240v unit I had. I'll build a inclosure and hope for another no generator year.
