I have the Champ 3500 and $280 is a GREAT price for a great genny.
I've run my 13.5 k A/C from my Champ 3500 in 103 degree heat at almost 4000 ft. In that heat and altitude it started and ran perfectly.
I have inverter gennies that I use now for camping and I keep my beloved Champ for home backup. IMO you cannot beat the Champion 3500 for quality in a synchronous genny.
