4@12v = 24v
I'm installing 4 -12v AGM batteries to power a 24v inverter. This is my first choice for wiring: and my second: Any pros or cons to either one?

Going with the first diagram. I think balanced would be to attach one main negative cable to the inner negative of one series pair and the main positive cable to the inner positive of the other series pair.
