4@12v = 24v
I'm installing 4 -12v AGM batteries to power a 24v inverter. This is my first choice for wiring: and my second: Any pros or cons to either one?

Still true that it would be better to have the DC DC converter closer to the 12v panel, so the longer set of wires (the input) would be 24v instead of 12v? (for voltage drop)
