4@12v = 24v
I'm installing 4 -12v AGM batteries to power a 24v inverter. This is my first choice for wiring: and my second: Any pros or cons to either one?

Would an MPPT still be able to do its thing on a 24 to get more amps?
EDIT: The Morningstar Tristar PWM can accept 125V input, 4kW arrays, 45 or 60A output, 12-48V banks. The 45A controller only costs $146.
