Hi,
The Rogue will work fine if it is a fixed installation. That is if you can get one.

Your link doesn't seem to be working.
Quote from the owner's manual for the 3048:
“The maximum usable PV array power when taking into consideration system losses may be approximately calculated using the following formula, where Vb is the battery voltage: PV(watts) = (30 x Vb) / 0.90 (this assumes overall system efficiency of 90%).
System Voltage Max Sugg PV Pwr Battery Voltage Battery Current
12v 480 watts 14.4 volts 30.0 amps
24v 960 watts 28.8 volts 30.0 amps
36v 1440 watts 43.2 volts 30.0 amps
48v 1920 watts 57.6 volts 30.0 amps
Table 4.4.1. Maximum recommended PV power at typical system voltages, constrained by maximum output current of 30 amps.”
Yes, according to the chart, a suggested max is 480 watts. That is assuming 90% efficiency and battery voltage of 14.4. If the panels actually produce 460 watts or "overproduce" as I have seen mine do rather frequently, and the battery voltage is lower which it will be when the batteries are "hungry", the 30-amp limiter will be triggered. If one doesn't mind that on occasion, the Rogue is an excellent controller. However, the availability timeframe is still unknown.
