THIRTY TWO -POUNDS- IN EIGHT YEARS?????
The WEIGHT of an extra panel and mounting to compensate for line loss also has to be factored in.
If you don't mind losing a few thousand aggregated kWh over a few years, go ahead and save what, thirty bucks on wire.
The only way to resolve this is with mathematics, not opinion.
