OK, ok, 1% is nothing. Unless of course it's 1% less liver due to 1 lb more of Tylenol :)... MEX has got his point too. Being where he is, every watt and every pound of propane matters.
Don, why load diversion is so important and are you sure that Rogue has it? I checked 3048 manual, it has what they call "auxiliary output" - an outlet that is powered by relay when battery voltage reaches certain point, and it is rated to 5A. If you try and use it for "direct" power, to save the battery lifespan, this is mere 60W and very inconvenient, never available when you need it.
