Why it will not come out of the battery if load is connected to the battery? As I understand, this is about resistance. When battery is near full and some charger is connected, most current will come out of the charger to the load, and battery will contribute a fraction. OTH, when you run the load off the auxiliary output of controller, the battery will contribute nothing at all.
Don - when you are saying that 30A MPPT is good for 500W in "fixed installation", you probably mean flat?
