I wonder how they are working it out. 4 hours of sun on 589w of panel isn't going to offset 4 hours of a 1100w load even with off peak sun. The 12000 BTU unit must pull less than that, I have seen 9000 BTU mini splits that only pulled 600w and were not considered all that efficient.
