I certainly have had good luck feeding my off-road trailer 30AMP Connector with an adapter plugging into 15/20 AMP regular 120VAC receptacles when on the road and here at the house. Visiting family, some WALMARTS and hotels parking lots if you ask, even a Bass Pro shop in ALA one time. You never know when a 120VAC parking lot receptacle will show up. Just enough power to watch some OTA HDTV and re-charge batteries with... ALot of these places have 120VAC receptacles scattered all over the place for the outside maintenance crews to use. I have even saw them at McDonalds a few times.
