The only concern.. If you use the unit's built in ammeter to monitor (Personally) how much power you draw.. On 30 amp you need to add L-1 and L-2, on 50 maps you consider them separately.
What makes it "5 times better"? The price???
And I'm confused about your second comment. Isn't the 30 amp just running on one leg of the power? 30 amp has three wires, a 110v hot, a common and a ground. 50 amp has four wires, two 110v hots, a common and a ground, right?
