"You do not want to run a microwave from a inverter. IT is to large of a load for most battery banks, and will quickly discharge the battery anyway. Use a generator to run the microwave, or use a stove with a oven."
Our new to us 1981 Truck Camper now has two used T-1275s from 2011 (rated 150AH each for 300 total--I am getting about 270AH on these ones now) and a 2000w MSW inverter. Stuck in a "1000w" microwave and we are good to go. Can also use a toaster or a kettle, same as in the 5er with the same inverter.
Of course you have to manage your usage, but that does not limit you very much.
