The AC window units, especially the newer ones, draw considerably less power than a dedicated marine or RV AC unit.
If the budget will fit it, I'd suggest to look long and hard at increasing battery amount. With a small inverter and increased battery storage, You can stay away longer from the generator use. As many of us have found, a small solar charging system works well with RV use.
