I was looking at the TRC units and the Progressive SSP50A, which is basic but much less expensive.

Everybody calls them surge protectors but what you need is an EMS. The Progressive 50 amp unit is the best protection for your coach. Surges are not as common as over/under voltage and open or floating neutral or ground and in a 50 amp coach those conditions can be devastating.
