5th Wheel landing gear

Landing gear motor will only work while hooked up to tow vehicle when I unplug will not work fuses look good anyone have an idea whats going on its a 2010 jayco eagle rlsa Thanks

It does not appear that you have a problem with the landing gear motor. It appears that both battery and shore power are not powering the motor. I would check fuses first and if you have an inexpensive volt meter you can begin tracking down where the electrical issues are located. On shore power make sure you are getting power to the converter. Then from the converter to the landing gear motor. Also, see if there are other systems that should be powered by shore power or the battery that also are not working.
