well, the xantrex starts at 40 amps and charges at 14.8 volts up to 80 or90 %, then gradually switches down to a float charge.
are you saying that the resting voltage of a good battery without being charged would be 14.8? I thought a fully charged battery would be at about 13.5 or .6?
