600 watt pure sine wave inverter

I've had good luck with the Power Bright APS600-12 pure sine wave inverter. It's inexpensive (currently $165 on Amazon). Capable of 600w continuous or 650w surge for 20 minutes. The fan only comes on under high load. Even then it's not that loud and turns off once the heat sinks have cooled down sufficiently. Even though it's rated for 600w, I've run a 650w coffee maker and a 5.5 amp vacuum cleaner with no voltage drop (steady at its rated 115-116 v) with no alarms. It has a parasitic (no load) current draw of .3 amps (300ma).
