A 1000W inverter will run more things as BFL13 said. It will also be less efficient at low power. Your 205AH battery should not be drawn down below 50%. If you are running the inverter at 1000W it will be using about 100AH each hour. The toaster only takes a few minutes to make toast.
Only you can decide what is right for you.
Edit: BTW, don't forget that the wire resistance becomes much more important as the size of the inverter is increased. You will need short fat wires with a 1000W inverter.
