1) Why does your Solar Charge Controller output go to the "OEM Positive Load Mini Breaker Bank" vice directly to the battery?
The output for solar charge controller goes to main positive buss bar (which what you can't see behind it's cover is a thick electrically conducting piece of steel with four lug bolts on it). So it's not going directly to OEM positive load mini breaker bank directly. The OEM + load MBB comes off main + buss bar like everything else.
2) Whick side of the "Master Battery Disconnect" is the Genny Positive connected to? The Battery or Inverter side?
The genny is connected to same lug bolt as main battery positive cable, so genny always has power regardless if both disconnects switches are off. In practice, no with solar installed, I never turn off disconnect switches unless I'm doing work on system, as with RV parked outside, there's always an excess of power.
3) I assume you would connect the negative for the charge controller and the solar panels to the negative buss bar?
Yes, negative cables from solar charge controller and inverter go to main neg buss bar.
4)I assume the Battery positive is still connected to the ""OEM Positive Load Mini Breaker Bank" along with the output of the Solar Charge controller? Just did not see this in your diagram.
Yes, via main buss bar.
Thanks and I apoliogize if these are dumb questions...I really admire your setup and just trying to understand it.
You're welcome. Thank you. It took me quite awhile to get my head wrapped around all the wiring issues and get it laid out properly. That's part of the fun of it, though. :)
