To avoid my own personal confusion I adopted the boater's convention of B+ Red and B- Yellow. This avoids any issues with 120v hot, 12v hot (+), and 12v ground.
The 4/0 wire connects the battery direct to a Prosine 1800 in the side compartment. Large fuse is 250a class T. The smaller #4 connects the battery to the controller. Small fuse is a 70a Maxi in a Blue Sea holder.
Yes the pair of solar wires are wrapped in that corrugated plastic and come into the high voltage switch/fuse box on the right side of the picture. Then similar continues to the controller.
Green wire is chassis ground. Connects the metal box to the trailer frame.
