Gone up a bit since 2006. I think I paid about $82. (click on the box to see the $99 sale price)
Lid does not seal. My front compartment has plenty of ventilation as built.
For low cost I have seen posts of using something from the Container Store that seems to work just fine with a snap on lid and had to be a fraction of the cost.
